The 2026 Season

Maciej Kulaszewski won the 2026 Polish Advanced championship and the Polish Cup on SP-EKS. The same aircraft is used for introductory flights and training.

Polish National Championship, Advanced class

The 60th Polish Championships in Aerobatics were held at Pruszcz Gdanski. Maciej Kulaszewski won the Advanced class. Lukasz Wolejko took Intermediate, also on SP-EKS, which made it two titles for one airframe at a single championship.

Polish Cup, Advanced class

Won at Piastów, again in the Advanced class and again on SP-EKS. The Cup runs as a separate competition from the national championship, with its own programmes and its own standings.

Why one aeroplane doing both matters

SP-EKS is a two-seat aircraft used for competition, introductory flights and instruction. Participants and students fly with the pilot who competes on that aircraft.

It also means the training is not theoretical. Students on the rating course fly the same aeroplane with the same instructor who flew it at the championship six weeks earlier.

The wider record

Students trained on this aeroplane took the Polish Intermediate title in 2026 and 2025 and the UK Intermediate title in 2022.

Displays this season

Between competitions the aeroplane flies displays across Poland, from small local aviation picnics to larger airshows. If you want it at an event, the lead time is 60 days minimum and the details are on the display booking page.
