How much does it cost to rent an Extra 300L?

One flight hour with fuel and instructor costs 4,920 PLN including VAT (4,000 PLN net). Five hours cost 24,600 PLN including VAT; ten hours cost 49,200 PLN including VAT. The hourly rate is the same for all three packages.

Who can rent the Extra 300L?

Rental is for pilots already qualified to fly aerobatics. An instructor is on board and included in the price; the scope of each flight is agreed when booking.

Where is the aircraft based?

At Radom-Piastow airfield (EPRP), about 100 km from Warsaw, Poland. The aerobatic box is directly next to the airfield.

Is fuel included in the hourly rate?

Yes. Fuel and the instructor on board are included, and billing is based on actual flight time.

The aircraft

You fly Extra 300L registered SP-EKS, a two-seat tandem aerobatic aeroplane. This airframe previously flew in the colours of the Royal Jordanian Falcons and is now permanently based at Radom-Piastów.

Aerobatic category; limits depend on mass, configuration and the AFM.
Lycoming AEIO-540-L1B5 engine, 300 hp.
Current Certificate of Airworthiness issued by the Polish Civil Aviation Authority (ULC).
Maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's maintenance programme.
Third-party liability insurance in place.
Emergency parachutes for both crew members.

Rates

One flight hour costs 4,920 PLN including VAT (4,000 PLN net), with fuel and instructor included. The current hour-credit products are:

Who can rent

Rental is intended for pilots who already hold the qualifications to fly aerobatics themselves. An instructor is on board and included in the price. If you do not yet hold an aerobatic rating, the route in is the FCL.800 aerobatic rating course.

Getting there

Radom-Piastów airfield (EPRP) lies about 100 km south of Warsaw, roughly 1.5 hours by road, or by train to Radom Główny plus a 15-minute taxi ride. Warsaw Chopin and Warsaw Modlin are the nearest international airports. Free parking on site.
